We had a great experience with Guaillas replacing our roof and gutters. What initially stood out to us was the estimate. Erika didn't just measure the roof and give us a price. She took the time to look at the existing problems, identified areas where we were already experiencing leaks, noticed issues with the decking and roofline, and explained what they would look for once the old shingles came off. That gave us a lot of confidence that the approach wasn't just another roof, it was our roof. The crew did an excellent job. They completed the roof in a day, replaced damaged decking as they found it, and the finished roof looks great. When I had questions during the installation about some of the areas they repaired, Erika explained what they found and even shared photos from before the repairs were covered up. We did have a misunderstanding about the scope of the gutter replacement. When we discussed it afterward, Erika immediately took ownership of the mix-up and worked with us to come up with a solution that we felt was more than fair. To me, how a company handles an issue says as much about them as how they handle everything when it goes perfectly, and I really appreciated how they handled it. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, and we're very happy with the finished roof. Guiallas Roofing 5 Stars – where do I start? Well my old man was a lifetime roofer until the day he died, I started working with him when I was 8, so I know roofing better than most.  We used to drive around and laugh at all the large roofing crews that had 90% of workers standing around picking dandelions.  The Guiallas team is the opposite, everyone is working hard, non-stop, doing correct work to the T and installing top quality materials at a tasty price.  I could not be happier with the whole process from estimate, to finished product, to getting the final check from the insurance company.  We were already going through a stressful time, dealing with Tornado damage, Invasive Water Chesnut on the lake, and Great Black Wasp nests, we were pretty much pushed to the brink with projects and unexpected financial hits.  We hit the nail on the head (pun intended) going with Guiallas Roofing. The roof – we got Onyx Black Owens Corning Architectural Shingles, the latest underlayment technologies with 2 runs of Ice and Water Shield, plywood replacement as needed, and seamless gutters (I haven’t had working gutters since I bought the house in 2014). Pricing – This was the best price of multiple estimates, but not one of those “too good to be true prices” that all those “hail damage” companies from out of town hit you with.  I have to imagine the fact that everyone is working hard and not smoking a cig every 15 minutes, they are extremely efficient.  As someone who works very hard myself, it was truly an honor watching the Guiallas crew work. Erika knows her stuff, I see why all the Google reviews mention her by name.  She has technical expertise and elite customer service rolled together to make the whole process of having your roof done simple, touching all of the big details and little ancillary details (like an extra touch with the flashing to divert water into the gutter).  Last minute, we hit her up to see if the crew would also put a roof on a new shed I just built, to match the house – no problem.  It was wild to me they just have all the material right in the warehouse in Binghamton (no materials getting delivered and sitting in your yard for days if the job gets delayed due to weather), one of the benefits if you are in the Binghamton area is that they are actually local! As far as cleanup goes and jobsite cleanliness….  I’ve seen some jobsites that for a week look like a drone strike hit the property, Luis has top notch equipment, processes, and training for his team, we could walk around the whole property comfortably without stepping on a nail every 10 feet.  I could tell the tools and equipment were top notch, stored in rugged cases, neatly stowed at the jobsite, a sign of good things to come. If you are in the Binghamton area and need a roof replacement, call Guaillas and ask for Erika! Make sure when you collect quotes, that you include their company. Guaillas was the lowest quote of 4, and their warranty on workmanship as well as the certified premier installer status through Owens-Corning meant we have long term peace of mind in addition to a beautiful roof. Guaillas Roofing did a really good job on my roof. Jessica stayed in touch with me the whole time, from coordinating the estimate and permits to rescheduling (because of the rain) and checking in after the work was done. Luis was professional and gave me a fair price. Tre, the project manager, kept me updated during the job and sent pictures while everything was being done, which was helpful. The cleanup was thorough and surprising, I didn’t find any stray nails which was pretty cool. Very happy with my experience. Needed my chimney removed to below the roof line. Erica met at my house and talked about options and costs. Quote was at a very fair price.
